Who we are
London Drivers Voice is an independent publication run by licensed private hire vehicle drivers in London. Our website address is londondriversvoice.org.
We are not affiliated with any union, platform, political organisation, or commercial interest. We do not sell advertising or share data with third parties for commercial purposes.

What data we collect and why
Petition sign-ups
When you sign our petition, we collect your first name, last name, email address, postcode, and optionally your TfL PHV licence number. This data is used solely to record and present the petition to Transport for London and relevant MPs. We will never use it for marketing, share it with platforms, or sell it to any third party.
Contact form submissions
When you use our Contact page, we collect your name and email address so we can respond to your message. This data is stored securely and deleted once correspondence is complete.
Comments (via Disqus)
If you leave a comment on an article, your comment is processed by Disqus. Please refer to the Disqus Privacy Policy for details of how they handle your data. We do not have direct access to your Disqus account data.
Analytics
We use basic analytics to understand which pages are read and how visitors find the site. Analytics data is aggregated and anonymous — we cannot identify individual visitors from it.

How long we keep your data
- Petition data — retained for the duration of the campaign it relates to, then deleted or anonymised
- Contact form data — deleted once correspondence is resolved, and no later than 12 months after last contact
- Analytics data — aggregated and anonymous, retained indefinitely as statistical records
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right of access — you can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Right to rectification — you can ask us to correct inaccurate data
- Right to erasure — you can ask us to delete your data (“right to be forgotten”)

Data security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure. Our site runs on HTTPS. Form submissions are transmitted securely. We do not store payment information — we take no payments.
